Resilience Analysis of Critical Infrastructure Networks

Resilience Analysis of Critical Infrastructure Networks

Fraunhofer EMI and Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg
NEU

The demonstrator shows the time evolution of a small network with failures. Users can choose to analyse systems with either one, two or three nodes, where always one node is exhibiting a defect state. For a given number of time steps results may be loaded, which show how the population of each quantum states evolves. Depending on availability, new results can be generated on IBM backends.

Sensitivity Analysis for Network Failure

In this demonstrator, we perform hybrid, Grover based optimization to find the single network parameter change leading to the largest reduction of the critical failure probability in a cascading network. The implemented Grover search algorithm utilizes an imperfect, Quantum Amplitude Estimation (QAE) based oracle.
